I was looking through some old posts here, and some people were wondering where I've been. I assure you, I haven't been injured by a chainsaw. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif I've just been really busy. This summer, I worked a ton. Then, in Sept., I started Ski Patrol training. That and school consumed a lot of time up until about a month ago. Now, I have medical training equivalent to an EMT-Basic (which I think is pretty big for my age). I've mainly been hanging out around a moped forum (mopedarmy.com). http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif In the way of stuff with engines, in the past about 6 months, I sold a dirtbike (Kawasaki KLR250), bought a new old one (Yamaha IT200, 1984), bought a scooter ('87 Honda Elite 50), and bought a moped ('74 Vespa Ciao). Anybody want to fill me in on anything major around here? (besides the code deal; I've been briefly checking in around here every month or so)

Sorry. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif PSK31 just got a little old after a while; with 35 watts, there wasn't really much challenge. I plan to try to use my FT-817 and see how it goes. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif First I've got to set it up for that. And, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all.

BTW, any familiar faces get banninated?

One day, not long ago, he musta got into the
Sacramental wine, or the Christian Brothers Brandy
or even the Manichevitz, just a wee bit too much.

We made inquiries at the local hospital and jail, when we didn't find your name there, we figured that something else was keeping you busy. Welcome back! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

In "banned land", sad to say.

Sorry to hear you were moping around, dude, let alone joining an army of mopers; group hugs, everybody!

Things can't be that bad...at least nothing so depressing that a few grams of Prozac can't cure. ;>

I miss my Honda Express...I must've put a couple of thousand miles on that thing.

Cool! I test-rode a "Burgie" at the nearby Suzy (Suzuki) dealer and really liked it...much more so than the Honda Silverwing and the Aprilia (sp?) scooters. What threw me was the price tag: $7K. Ouch!

My Honda Helix was another fun machine I put a few thousand miles on for local jaunts when I didn't want to take my murdercycle (a Honda Pacific Coast) out into the rain. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Oooh! A burgman! 400 or 600? Maxi-scooters are very cool. Almost as cool as a Volkswagen Jetta GLX or GLI VR6. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

650 ofcourse! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif I ride it pretty well...agressive...and I still get 45mpg. Unless its really crap outside or I have a bunch of stuff to go haul, I normally take my skoot to work.
