merry Christmas to you all, in dutch: "vrolijk kerstfeest."
pronounced as vroo-like kèrst-feest.
whoops
hehe, looks like I spelled Christmas wrong, I guess I should quit these early morning posts, either that or drink coffee.

did you make some nice Christmas QSO's?
I did, i was QRV as ON/PE2YSB/p
I visited my grandparents in Belgium, brought my ft-817, a tuner, a 20m wire dipole and a spare battery with me and made some nice's contacts on december 25th.
I made some pretty nice QSOs. A couple new states for the worked all states award.
My most interesting was a QSO with "Santa Clause",
some ham got a special event call of W6S (whisker six santa)
20 meters was open a few days ago, as in it was jam packed with other stations, and of course QRM
It was a pretty good.

Conditions on 20m were reasonable here yesterday...most of Canada and the US were relatively strong. #As well, I worked the US on CW, using only 2W (once I factor in SWR on my antenna)
73 es gud new year
