that's not chicken wire, that's solid beryllium plate punched with his patented PowerHoles™ punch.
6kW out of 3 3-500z's, that's the only explanation :P
edit: reported of course, and I love the raw wire sticking out of the conduit clamp on the bottom corner. Make no mistake, the $30 of cheap diamond plate aluminum making this chassis up = QUALITY

"Always follow FCC regulations."
Ok, so what radio service is allowed 6KW on *snicker* 10m?

Hardware cloth, not chicken wire. Much more expensive stuff than chicken wire, making the item worth a bid of $1.49 at least.
Figures. You know it's gonna end up on the chicken band.

This is a nasty sentiment, I know, but I hope it stays there. I don't want that thing even tuned up to an amateur band.
I bet for an additional $50 he'll throw in a dot-matrix printer that hooks up to it and prints the FCC NALs for you, saving them the time.

Rabbit hutch wire and diamond plate! #What a combination, that alone should make it good for the Southern skip in December!
Unless there is some circuitry we can't see in the pictures this thing should splatter from Maine to Spain! #BUT DARN IT LOOKS COOL DON'T IT BUBBA?

Chicken wire for the chicken band, for the propagation of fowl language.
On second that, maybe it's chicken wireless.

Maybe. If the thing does the 'alleged' 6KW, and its a 12v linear, it may not take long for charlie chickenbander to burn his house down with the thing.
I can just imagine the amperage....
Love the diamond plate chasis too. Wonder if it will end up on the air between 28.3 and 28.5 MHz.

I agree it's hardware cloth...it appears to be galvanized also..
it won't make any kind of good electrical contact without being cad-welded to the chassis...kinda doubt if it is http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Seriously, do you guys sit there and check every thread on QRZ and if it doesn't have a code drop whine post, you write one? This is RIDICULOUS. This site is completely unusable, every thread is CODE CODE CODE.
I find your attitude offensive and detrimental to the future of amateur radio. please gear it down a bit.

I say... HUH?
My short post had three lines; count them, three. Here they are again:

Sheesh!
Now if you can read, there is no mention of any code be it Morse, or secret, anywhere in the thread to date.
I am dumbfounded by the lack of simple reading comprehension displayed by the kc4. He was the one that mentioned the dreaded "code"?!?
Can it be that these posts about illegal and stupid amplifiers hit a little too close to home?
Please expalin Mr. kc4
HMM?
