I have had my TH-F7E for a long while and used it as a handheld with it's original antenna.
The other day I decided to give it a try when mobile using a small 1 meter whip magnetically attached to the roof of the car. I tuned it into a repeater on 2m, clear 5/9 signal then all of a sudden a PMR signal completely drowns out the repeater. It happens as often as every minute on some of the channels on 2m wherever I drive.
70cm doesn't seem to suffer from this problem. It's only when I use 2m.
Doe's anyone have the same problem?
Is there a simple way of fixing that or would it be easier just to fit a band pass filter between the RF output of the handheld and the antenna?
