View Full Version : Danny DeVito Makes A Fool Of Himself

I see Danny DeVito made a total dam fool of himself on the View (a TV program). He came on the show fairly drunk and proceeded bad mouth the president in a very crude manner instead of promoting his new movie. In my view, people like Danny DeVito have always been with us. And once upon a time, he would have been treated like the boor that he is, rather than having Rosie and the rest of the "View" gang giggling along sympathetically.

So he came on a horrible show, where he is surrounded by loud mouth , cackling hens . It would almost require a few drinks just to get through it. As far a bashing bush, good for him.

How would you even know this, unless you actually watch such drivel? I'd rather pull my fingernails out with needlenose pliers than watch Rosie do anything. Well, maybe ONE thing. What's that ritual Hindu widows are supposed to do once hubby has been launched?

Well, for one, it was on so many shows that it would be hard not to miss.

Personally, Danny was pretty funny. I suppose if you actually still like Bush, you might think it was foolish. I didn't, he'd merely said what a lot of people are thinking. Here in the city, where opinions flow, Danny wouldn't have stood out at all with that rant. Especially not in Brooklyn, where there's at least one group that has been collecting money to Impeach the Decider. At least Danny's a happy drunk. Tom Cruise probably wishes he had that excuse after humping the couch on Oprah. Our Danny could learn from their Danny. How about a Danny trade, with a Ham to be named later? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

The president will reap what he sows and I don't feel sorry for him one bit. #All presidents get chided by comedians but bush has given them so much ammo they can do their skits impromptu and drunk and still get laughs. #My land, all you have to do is quote the dork and people will laugh at you.

Bush is an embarrassment to the position. #The sad thing is that people have been brought up to support the president no matter what as a patriotic value. #I don't fault them for doing what they feel is patriotic. #Instead, I fault the current administration for putting such a pathetic specimen in power and taking advantage of many good folk's valued patriotism. #I hope the damage the greedy krew has done is reversible.

Danny's cool.

"The View" is a terrible show. Saw it once, never again.

Best thing Danny could have done is bring a nest to lay on the floor, to catch the dropping eggs from the cackling hens.

Damn, that's funny, I'll have to send him an e-mail to tell him to do that next time. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

He gets paid to play the fool. For me, that's what entertainment is all about.

I really don't care what celebrities do, think, or say. I don't need any apologies.

Just once, I would like to see someone who put their foot in their mouth say that they won't apologize and they meant every word.

All I want celebrities to do is make movies, act, make music, be creative, entertain me, etc. That's it. I really don't care about their personal lives or views. I'm bright enough to have my own views and thoughts.

Best,
Brian

Too bad his antics take away from the movie he's attempting to promote. I'm sure the executives at Fox (not the news division) will take a dim view of his performance as they want the movie to be a success.

Ah, is the right hoping and wishing that DeVito will pull an OJ?

Unlikely. FOX took a big loss on that one and won't repeat that fiasco.

Merry Christmas.

I get a kick seeing the Liberal/Socialist's Bush bashing #as if any one cared what they think. I would guess that as long as Geo. Soros is paying the bill they will continue to bash Bush. It is some what ironic Bush is going to complete his term in office and all they can do is bash and suffer.

The odd part is how would they know what a good President should do,judging from the last administration this one is correcting all the errors he made. Of course you do have to give them credit for having a good sense of humor, with the candidate they ran last time.

I am surprised though, with all they had at stake they would pull such a practical joke on the voters of this country .You have to admit is was a funny JOKE !! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

OK, I didn't see the show. The comments attributed to him in the lunatic fringe article don't seem far out of line, at all - certainly not 'despicable'. This is Danny DeVito for heaven's sake. This is the guy who takes his pet rat out for a walk every evening. If he took a dump on Bush's lap, that would not be out of character.

If W.C. Fields was still alive he WOULD take a dump on Bush.

How ? By lying his way into a war in the wrong place while the man responsible for killing thousands of Americans remains free and at large and continues to make threats, getting thousands of people killed in war, trashing the bill of rights, running up an enormous debt, replacing science with superstition, etc. I guess that's the mark of a good president. You trash the country to make it better ?

N2IZE,
I see you are confused also, with all the talk about Bush from the Democrats some people think he ran on the Democratic ticket, that is the main reason his polls are so low, people are confused. Never before have the opposing party given so much attention to a sitting President. So with all this celebrity, people just assume he was a Democrat.

He was elected as he was the only one running, although most people got a good laugh at the Democratic idea of a practical joke in running Kerry !!And with all that they had at stake, no one can say they don't enjoy their job !!

Unlike the jovial Democratic Party most voters take the election of the President very seriously, the main reason for electing BUSH twice in a row.

It has been said the Democratic National Convention is the only time some Democrats get to get out and party,so they make the most of partaking of the party spirits,of course Ted Kennedy conventions all year long. #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Well, all pointless political partisanship aside, Mr. DeVito did seem a bit out of it. And, since we're referencing You Tube in this thread, here is the video to the DeVito appearance on The View (which I would agree is an annoying bunch of yentas with nothing much to say.) Though not completely unfunny, it was a little awkward since he did seem drunk or on something.

What really annoyed me about the DeVito remarks was his account of sexing up the Lincoln Bedroom with his wife; leaving aside the fact that America really doesn’t want to think about this hairy-backed gargoyle pinning Rhea Perlman up against the door. Now THAT's funny.

Right wing ideologue complains about a celebrity making unfavorable comments about President Bush. Same self-righteous right wing ideologue makes disgusting inappropriate comments (for this forum) about the celebrity and his wife.

You're pinning the hypocrisy needle with this dreck, station. It's impossible to take your complaints about something a celebrity says seriously when you post this garbage.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
