I have been redoing my station here in Kampala. My wife said that she was getting interference on the television in the living room. I had just finshed putting a low pass filter in the system and begin to work 9K2mu in Kuwait and had quit. I wondered if put 2 low pass filters in line, would they work and wondered what effect it would have on the reflected power. I found that putting the first low pass filter between the radio, a TS-570D and the directional coupler for a Kenwood power meter with a remote sensor and the 2nd filter between the directional coupler and the antenna coax switch that I had no TVI with the TV antenna 20 ft. away with a preamp on the tv antenna and 150 watts from the radio. My wife is now a " Happy Wife of a Ham ", this may be useful to some others that have the same problem that I used to have here. If it doesn't bother my without a high pass filter on the television,it doesn't bother my neighbors either. Just a passing thought for you guys that may run a bit of power out there. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
