Quote[/b] ]A crackdown on illegal use of prescription narcotics like the powerful painkiller OxyContin has caused some addicts to switch to heroin, a Justice Department report said on Wednesday.

On to new drug frontiers. Will the Rabid Ranting Right blindly follow Rush down this road too? Will they continue listening to the rhetoric of the disaffected desultory delusional druggie? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

This has been happening for the past 10-20 years. Every now and then reports come in of people addicted to prescription painkillers and the DEA cracks down on doctors who "over prescribe" or physicians who simply write scripts on a patients request for money. A fgew years ago there was such a scare that some doctors were afraid to prescribe even for patients who really needed it.

So, I guess the idea now is to switch to Heroin brand that is unregulated and doesn't require a prescription. Just visit your friendly neighborhood street corner pharmacist. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif Besides, they have to put all those Afghani opium poppies to good use.
