The dems were in control of New Orleans, government, subsidies, welfare etc. for 50 years. Therefore, New Orleans, should have been a model city. Except, it was/is dirt poor. What happened?

Well, if the law worked correctly, any money he made off this interview would go to the people who won the Civil trial.
Probably won't happen though.
But if things went right, he could talk all he wants to inflate his ego, and get a check for exactly zero dollars for it.
Must be nice to get a civil judgement against you and not have to pay a dime of it.

Well, it is true that in the criminal case he was not found guilty of comitting any crime. So in that case the law has taken its course.
