Listening to Rush yesterday and I was quite amazed and in agreement with what he said. #He admitted he may be out of touch with main stream America. #Why? #Because after years of conservative radio lambasting and criticizing the dems and liberals and haters of the Bush administration, the military and the war in Iraq, the conservatives were voted out anyway.
He came to the conclusion that quite possibly, the American people either aren't listening, are too dumb to understand or really do want or don't mind having such people (liberals and democrats) in office. #Hence his confusion. #Where does he go from here?

I stopped listening to Rush when he lost his conservative leanings and just became a shill for the republican party. He needs to get back on track and talk about conservatism and not republican politics.
Limbaugh has admitted to carrying on habitual lying, and then he can't understand why people don't listen to him anymore?

Any time I miss some thing Rush has said I always ask a Liberal,it seems they all listen and know more of what he said than the concervatives do !!

Rush has become just plain disgusting.
But then again, he's better than Laura Ingraham or Michael Savage.
Today he was going on and on about how Al-Qaeda didn't like how a muslim was elected. He even went as far as to say that Al-Qaeda turned against one of their own.

So is Rush basically saying now that muslims are automatically associated with Al-Qaeda?

The station he is on in my area cannot be received reliably this far north of the transmitter. I quit listening to him when I didn't WORK at the local station that carried him anymore.

The sad thing is that people take the time to listen to, pay attention to, and think about what people like Douche Limbaugh and similar extremists have to say when we should probably be listening to what's really going and the people that actually have some control and know what's going on. Granted, Douche Limbaugh has a large audience, and much like Howard Stern, some people people listen just to dislike him. Why give him the time of day when, if you are truly concerned with the state of affairs in the world, there are much better resources to spend your time on?
I understand that people like talk radio, myself included, and that the choices may be somewhat limited in certain areas, but why anyone gives the Douche Limbaughs or the Air Americas any creedence is beyond me. It's entertainment at best, at worst it's polarizing rhetoric with the intention of further polarizing. Don't waste your time and they'll fade away like yesterday's fad.

Air America is an extreme ? Air America is a sounding board for the (can do no wrong) democratic party. But all they really do is point out the inconsistencies,lies and hypocrisies of the Bush admin in order to gain support for the democratic party. Not really extreme at all. I only wish they'd be more honest about the shortcomings of the democratic party as well. Meanwhile an objective listener can glean a good deal of information about the shortcomings of todays republicans by listening to Air America.
