View Full Version : V.P. Cheney is coming for dinner
Yup, Cheney is coming to give a speech to boost the "blue" voters in the very hangar where I work tomorrow afternoon/evening. I wonder if showing up in greasy mechanic's overalls, but with a black tie, would be out of place... Anyway, it should be fun with all the protesters planning to come here to voice their war or environmental concerns.
Although here in Northern Idaho it's a hunter's playground, we're still going to keep any guns away from him. Maybe I should wear an orange safety vest, just in case.
Now, if there's some way I can sneak a poster with my callsign in the hangar so it's within all the TV cameras' line of sight...
As an aside, you should see all the activity here: Secret Service, a C-130 cargo plane, law enforcement. If you don't hear from me again you'll probably find me in a small cell at Guantanamo.

Are you going to hold up your "I'd Rather Hunt with Dick than Ride with Teddy" sign?

Be careful!
Dissention or disagreement with the President (or the VP, for that matter) can easily fall under the definition of "enemy combatant" these days.

Hey, I should try that. I could use a vacation although I never really considered spending it in Cuba before. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

If someone yells "Duck!" don't stand up and ask "Where?".
Please remember that the word 'duck' is also a verb.

The Secret Service wouldn't let me put my callsign on a poster inside the hangar where all the people are now, so I did the next best thing:
(Sorry about the link--I couldn't figure out how to get the image uploaded here.)

Eh, that won't happen. "El Presidente" discourages puffing on a stogie these days.
