I find it difficult to compare the violation of the Volstead Act to the financial support of the Nazis in the 40's.

What we don't know or understand should not bother us. As Americans, we should not care if Nazi influence affects decisions in our nation's capital. So what if we have Thyssen family influence governing our nation? We really don't care as Americans how our government is run. We are too mind-set on bad mouthing our neighbor and questioning their right to speak out against the way our government is run than to worry about how our government actually runs.
