Lets look at how each party reacts...
Democrat gets caught having sex with a minor...stays. Republican gets caught talking about sex with a minor...resigns.
Democrat kills someone in a traffic accident...stays. Republican kills someone in an accident... resigns.
So based on the track record....he stays.

Age of consent and age of majority are not the same. One is a minor until 18 except in a few rare circumstances.
The correct thing to say is that it was legal for him to have sex with a minor. But 17 is still legally a minor even if over the age of consent.
It is not revisionist anything, I just understand the law and legal terms. Perhaps it is liberal revisionist redefining of words....
I say Reid stays. Anyone who can hide $ 1,000,000 in income for years, is smart enough and deserves to stay, crook or no crook. He has to be real smart.

Age of consent or no, if some middle aged sleazeball decided to make some whoopie with my under 18 year old son or daughter, he had better give his soul to God, for his a$$ is mine.
As for the Fairness Doctrine, what does a now defunct policy affecting commercial and public broadcasting have to do with the amateur service or this forum?
