Q: What did the lady at the beach say to Mark Foley?

A: Excuse me sir, you're in my son.

Now McDonald's is introducing the "McFoley". Fifty year old meat and twelve year old buns.

"You ever sit around and watch gladiator movies?"

Wasn't that Mister Foley at K-Mart; he heard boys pants were half off.

This old flag don't represent what it used to. This is my smoke screen for illegal activities. I even have the backing of the speaker of the House. Tell your mommy you don't have to watch out for ole Foley. Wha...? Do I look like a priest?

Yes, I did. So Jerry...do you have this place in Ohio where you're putting up a station?

You really should come out to Arkansas and work at K5GO for the DX contests. I promise our next 40 meter antenna will be worth the trip. We'll show you a good time if you come out.

By the way, it is an eclectic group...libertarians, some republicans, and some Clintonistas...

The station is already set up. I actually won in "B" for the Midwest in '03 and '04, last year sucked.

Hope I can return to having fun the year.

BTW, I've see the 40 meter resonator at K5GO. Quite impressive!

Congrats on winning! K5GO is not the best for sweepstakes...antennas are overall too high for shorts skip, but Kevin (N5DX, Stan's son) has taken the division a time or two in Sweepstakes.

The new resonator promises to be even more effective...it's awaiting the crane. The tower is 33" on a side...I took my xyl down to see the station a few weeks ago (she has learned to go, "OOOHHHH" and "AAAHHHH" when seeing a tower) and she actually got to "help" a bit on the project, as did I.

No Sweeps for me (though it is my favorite contest). I don't have a fixed station (nor a broken one) and only work /m. Kevin generally works SS himself.

I remember when staying up the whole contest was not such a big deal.

Hey Jerry, you think we might get in trouble for making posts directly related to ham radio?
