I guess if you really want to learn you would have to go here "The Ham story." (http://www.hamsrestaurants.com/story.htm)

You could take up amateur dramatics, they REALLY know about ham, and they love recruits that can also play an instrument - mind you, playing in a theatre you soon learn just why something unpleasant is called "the pits"!

Or, as long as we're stereotyping, take the time to get your extra and then argue with people like a CB'er in 80 meters.

What type of ham? Baked, smoked?
If you mean amateur radio, I think there was a site named QRZ.com that use to talk about radio stuff, but it got over run by friends of Charlie the Chicken Bander. All they seems to like to do now a days is point fingers, talk politics, bash Bush and for some reason look forward to Hillary to get into office so Billy can be the first lady and find some more uses for cigars.
Whoops, better leave Charlie out of this. Don't want to be on the receiving end of a drive by..................

Hello.
Stereotype?
How about monotype?
Or, we can always do linotype.
Teletype?
Sorry for the question but I have never seen a sterotype machine.
Ham? la halal!!

Remembering what an OF told me once right 'cher on this forum: It's not "HAM" its "H.A.M." and it stands for "How Aboutit Man?"
Of couse, this was back in the days before he made "Pope". He lives somewhere in Maryland in some town called "Baltimore". He keeps talking about some baseball team called the "Boreoles" and rants about Johnny Hart. I am sure you who I am talking about. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
I don't want to be accused of hijacking a thread, but while we are at it, how do you build a die-pole aerial ?
