I just think that ZZ Top falls in line with some good trucking music, and truckers are into CB. "Old 61" might be his handle. The "v's" might be slang for something. "Bad ass transactions" might be something illegal that truckers discuss over CB before pulling into truck stops. "Old 61" may be a flash back to Bob Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited, a fair pick for a CB handle. Knowing those sun baked bearded Texans it was probably written while "...stumbling through the parking lot of an invisible 7-11."
