Just thought I might stir up some more conversations, so heres the question:

What other Hobbies/activities do you like to do besides amateur radio?

Me: Mountain Biking, play drums, running, paintball, hiking

*Thats what I thought of as of right now (Midnight!)....

Act ? Too old for that
Fishing? Hell yes, stripers, cod, halibut, blues but only a few more weeks before taking the boat out for cleaning and winterizing
Play with animals ? No Comment
Reading ? Headlines only.

But then there are Web Pages to update, U.S. Power Squadron meetings to go to and classes, digital photography and keeping the dogs from eating up everything keeps me busy enough.

Right now my hobbies are camping, hiking, fishing and scouting.

cool, ya I dont play many video games anymore, I use to play alot but then I found mountain biking, radio, and a job, haha lol. well, I use to play almost exclusivly the America's Army video game. That game was great but I got dial up so the big games didnt work well and it was an online only game... thats pretty much it... played that game for like 2 years.... havent played since like the middle of my sophmore year, Im a senior now...

My other hobbies include:

Java/C++ Design/Programming
and Passing my Cisco CCNA computer networking certification class!! haha

Other than that I play the piano and electric guitar (gibson lp).

I like going to the lake, boating, skiing etc.
I like photography, and videography.
I sometimes weld for fun and necessity, I TIG, MIG and SMAW, sometiimes I use the torch. I also have a micro torch that has a ruby tip but I haven't used it yet.
I enjoy airbrushing w/ India ink, sometimes I use colors usally acrilics. I like painting motorcycles sometimes, definately I like riding. I have dirt bikes, and three street bikes - two Ducati's and one Kawasaki Mean Streak.
There isen't much time for anything else except work.

yep, cool, I dabble with photography and videography... took/taking a few videography classes in school,

I play with airbrushes here and there, mines not working as of right now, Need to trouble shoot it, its a badger 150 i think.... Nice pen but on the older side, given to me from a neihgbor... got an arc welder and have done some repairs... fun stuff, wanna pick up some alluminum arc welding rods and try some antennas or something...

I’m a full time student (electrical engineering at Eindhoven University for technology).

I like everything about radio, so not just amateur radio, I also podcast, host radio shows at a local radio station and do a bunch of things there.

I work at a theme park on Saturdays; enjoy drinking a beer with my friends. I participate in activities of a student association like organizing guest lectures.

Also I participate in an on-line trade game (miniconomy.com) and at the moment I’m programming a playlist generator for a radio station.

In the Netherlands and most other countries in Europe, you can drink light alcoholic drinks, like beer and wine from the age of 16, other alcoholic drinks from the age of 18.

But in the US you're allowed to drive a car from the age of 16, here you'll have to be 18 and take many lessons. It costs al lot to get your driverslicense. Avarage 1500 euro, (2000 USD) (30 lessens, each 35 euro, 2 exams because you always fail the first time, 200 euro each).......

miniconomy is a tradegame, it started in 2001 in dutch and since 2005 there's also an English version.
The game 1 month rounds, at the end of the round the game is resetted, you start with 1000 I-shell (money). The goal is to make as much money as you can. There are different ways to do that. You can build a shop, make products and then sell them in your shop. You can trade stock, become a real estate agent, build a harbor, a bank or you can get a job. Jobs don't pay enough to win http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif There are different jobs. You can become an officer (yes you can become a criminal to), you can become a newspaper editor, lawyer, judge,mayor or you could try to get a place in the national governement.

There are 3 counties in the game, Cyberia(Dutch),Digitalia(Dutch) and Virtua(English).
It's free to play the game, but you can become a premium member (costs a few dollars a month).If you're premium member you can use colors and smilies in clubs, you're allowed to buy more lots, and you get some extra's.

Just built my first rocket, and might be looking into RC Helicopters and planes in the future.
