Walter Sipser was in that picture Frank Rich wrote about. Here's what he thinks of Rich's column.

It's amazing how hindsight is 20/20. I am constantly surprised at how so many people in so many places not New York, know exactly how we felt that day. And how we should feel now. The prevailing attitude seems to be, "9/11 is over. Get over it." Yet we are still a target. We had been attacked twice before 9/11, and we have been targeted many times since then. Have they been sucessful? No. Will they be? Time will tell. Whenever life is in any way disrupted here, there is the fear on many peoples faces that it is happening again. I have personally seen that on countless occaisions since 9/11. As Mayor Bloomberg has said, "When you stop a terrorist, they have a map of New York City in their pocket. They don't have a map of any of the other 46 places or 45 places [that get funding]." I'm glad that Mr. Sipser has set the record straight. I know how he feels.
