No coincidence that this is the same chap who penned the hard-hitting docudramedy about 9/11 on ABC...

"CN: To quote Team America, he’s an out of control socialist weasel (laughs). Listen. I’m probably more of a libertarian than a strict conservative. In my writing and directing, I don’t want to just be a conservative version of Michael Moore. I’m here to tell a good story first and foremost - and that’s why I can navigate the networks and get my work produced."

Hello, pot? The kettle is paging... (http://www.libertyfilmfestival.com/libertas/index.php?p=462)

Another quote from the writer - producer of the movie:
Quote[/b] ]CN: Anything about 9/11 will be controversial - not necessarily because of a political point of view that may accompany a retelling of it, but because of the inherent nature of the subject matter. I commend ABC because they have continually asked me to be as truthful and honest as I can be. The producers have made every effort to be objective and tell the story truthfully - because that’s what the subject matter, and our audience, deserves.
I wonder what happened between this remark and the actual production? #Or is he really telling us the truthQuote[/b] ]...asked me to be as truthful and honest as I can be. (My emphasis).
Maybe he's just not an honest person, so he really can't be very honest...
He is quite right about one thing, though, an that is that the audience deserves the true story, honest and unvarnished. #Its just too bad he forgot about that when he wrote and produced the movie.

You know, the nets are missing a golden opportunity. We have the racist version of reality shows on CBS. We have the revisionistic version of 9/11 and Flight 93. If you want controversy, free publicity and money (not to mention wretched excess), then why not:

Hey, look what TV did to Al Sharpton. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

I love it. ABC first says it's a 'documentary' then they say, no it's a 'docuDRAMA' with a lot of scenes that weren't based on fact and immediately it becomes History for the right. Why? Because it re-inforces the rights distorted view of reality which means it must be true because this is the only way they can justify their radical agenda.

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but not this time. The voters know when they're being snowed. Six years and they can see which shell the pea is under. The con game doesn't work anymore. Clinton did it just isn't cutting it. And the polls (which we know the right doesn't read) are reflecting that.

The right is out of touch with America. The 'revolution' and Contract on America that Newt pushed is history. And it's not me that's saying that. It's Newt. The right is in complete and utter disarray. The ship is sinking and they're still playing that tune, "Clinton Did It."
