View Full Version : Has NewsMax Seen The Light?
Quote[/b] ]John Bolton, a notorious neocon warmonger who could not be confirmed as America's ambassador to the United Nations by even the compliant and corrupt U.S. Senate, got the job as a recess appointment. He is using the platform to push America into war with Iran.

Methinks, a change is blowing in the wind. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Quote[/b] ]The Bush regime's lies about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and propagandistic references to mushroom clouds convinced the befuddled American public to accept an illegal invasion of Iraq.
That's what I'm talking about!
Where's 3XR?
Wow! The silence from the Right must mean they're as convinced as NewMax that the power is draining out of the "Conservative" core this November.
Who was it that said, they're not disputing it so it must be true? Oh yes. Ann Coulter. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Oh dear me. That one's kind of embarrassing. It borders on hysteria. I'm accustomed to that sort of thing spewing from the Right.
Does this fellow seriously believe that the chicken hawks are stupid enough to first-strike with nuclear weapons?

Heck there it is, in the neo-con bible, in black and white! Hallelujah, they have seen the light!! So, this must mean that it's all over but for the fat lady singing according to NewsMax. And we all know that they're 3XR's favorite source. Oh-oh. Seems he's cut and run agin'. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

That one's a little out there, and it focuses on the past deeds of our regime, instead of the ongoing damage they're inflicting on the country.
I think that there is no argument that some of the president's closest advisors, including his vice president, have in the past subscribed to what is now being called the neocon agenda: domination of the world through military power. The plan is that we will not allow any country to get so powerful that they threaten us militarily.
The only problem with that theory is that the rest of the civilized world won't go for it. Even our closest allies do not want to see America set itself up as the only world power. And, China has its own superpower agenda. It looks like Russia is developing a new one.
Did you see the story today about the enormous fight between the International Atomic energy Commission and our congress over a recently published congressional study on Iran's development of enriched uranium? The UN nuke inspectors are saying that the congressional report deliberately distorts and exaggerates the facts about Iran's nuclear capabilities in order to justify a war. This , unfortunately dovetails nicely with the little op ed piece from NewsMax. The march to WWIII continues, hastened by the GOP congressmen.
What's your wager that we find some excuse to nuke them just prior to the election?
I would like to hear any of our generals give a military assessment of the probably outcome of a ground war with Iran.

You know, cynicism sucks - when it's proven right.
If these psychopaths drop the Big One on Iran it'll set the entire world against us. Trade sanctions will be the very least of it. Remember the cold war, guys? Remember when it was inches shy of going hot? The thing is, we won't have allies this time. Not a one. Even Blair and Harper will have to stop stooging.
Why would they do this when they know the consequences?
The dark, cynical answer is - for an excuse to suspend the U.S. Constitution with a state of emergency giving unlimited powers to the executive branch. The 2006 Federal elections could be the last in a very long time.
I hope that I am proven wrong.
