CNN Story (http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/09/12/usaf.weapons.ap/index.html)
I can see the new slogan used by the weapons manufacturer:
"Detroit Tested, Air Force Approved"

said Wynne. "(Because) if I hit somebody with a nonlethal weapon and they claim that it injured them in a way that was not intended, I think that I would be vilified in the world press."
Seem like perfectly sensible thinking to me. Will this set a new precedent for the U.S?

It's a high-powered microwave device?
"Lieutenant, set the power level to 10 and for two minutes so they'll be extra crispy when they're done. While you're at it, toss our MREs at 'em so they'll heat up, too."

Hello.
In the 1950's the American government had US and foreign servicemen station themselves near nuclear blasts, to study the effects.
In the 1960's the US decided to test nuclear fallout on a city in the US, Seattle was the target.
Now, the military wants to test "crowd control"?
Nothing new.

Is it something in the water or is it the food which makes people in the US think like this.? No wonder the people of the world shake their fists.

No wonder some of us support civilians owning military style rifles. Anyone points one of those microwave devices at me will find one of my AR-15s pointing back.
