Welcome to amateur radio! Congratulations on receiving your new foundation license.
May I suggest making contacts via HF for a start?

Thanks,
I don't have HF at home so it is VHF / UHF at the moment for me.

Congratulations on getting your foundation Callsign. If you want any IRLP contacts, there are quite a few facilities for such here in the UK, as well as your own in VK.

Hi Paul, try these Sydney IRLP nodes (repeaters) 6000, 6338 and 6250.
If you have an EchoIRLP system (or just Echolink on the PC), try 78750 GB3KD repeater in the West Midlands of England. I have some good friends there.

Hi Paul vk7fpgb ,
Welcome to the Ham bands. #There is a whole wide world out there to explore. Be it via IRLP, Echolink or HF. Try having a look at the link below for IRLP information. Good luck and hope to catch you around on the bands.
