As Bush tries to tie the war in Iraq to 9/11, watch what happens when a reporter interjects with a question.

Quote[/b] ]REPORTER: Is the tide turning in Iraq?
DUBYA: I think -- tide turning -- see, as I remember -- I was raised in the desert, but tides kind of -- it's easy to see a tide turn -- did I say those words?
--. White House, Jun. 14, 2006

Dubya has a way with reporters. What does it all mean? Like a barking dog, it needs to be interpreted and the interpreter is the actual speechmaker.

Edit: It's like the guy stood there before the Iraq invasion and told us that Saddam had sarin gas and nuclear centrifuges and all this stuff. He said they had "unmanned" aircraft that could deliver these weapons. That was his son's toy airplane operating on 49MHz.

Most sane men would have been impeached by now. The insanity factor, I think is holding off the political attacks.

The problem is that if you impeach Bush you get Cheney- the real architect of all this mess.

The best we can hope for is for Congress to get a spine and start reigning in these dangerous policies. Getting a spine and reigning in isn’t “code” for democrats. I don’t care what party is in charge, just do your $^#@ job!

Then just ride out this administration. I would then like Congress to look into the possibility of a bunch of them being brought up on charges. But after they’re out of office. Assuming they’ll leave…..

I'm not sure that's a safe assumption. If arresting a bunch of Muslims in England and accusing them of trying to blow up airplanes will convince 42% of Americans to vote for the GOP, a real attack on this country, no matter how small or how obviously fabricated, would certainly cause 60% to vote that way. Then, it's just a matter of suspending the Constitution and electing Bush Chancellor-for-life. I still predict that "terrorists" are going to blow up congress before this election or the next one.

I remember before the 2004 election Sean Hannity was floating the idea of postponing the election should there be an attack. I don't think these guys say a word without it being cleared or provided by Karl Rove.

I wish I could say that's a crazy notion, but with this crowd I can't. The worse it looks for the GOP as November nears, the more likely something happens.

They say Rove is a pretty smart guy. I wonder how smart he'd be if the American voters weren't such gullible idiots?

John. I find your optimism puzzling. When it comes to American politics, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

I still believe that this country has people willing to use their right to vote out the leeches and put in new blood before the well is totally dry. I wonder just how much more deficit the treasury is going to be able to handle at the rate it is being depleted. If the status quo continues, we due for a very rude economic awakening.

No WMDs.
Nothing to do with 9/11.

So. Why are we there? Why are we spending all that money? Why are we getting Americans killed? I believe that America wants to know. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

America is too busy sniffing laundry products perfume and watching idiot TV to care. They are the stupid in: "Stupid people don't deserve freedom". I believe we will continue to drop.
As long as Americans believe it's unamerican to think we are all doomed. and it's pretty damned pop right now.

Are you sure about this 9/11 thing? For the past five years every sentence coming from the Bushies begun with 9/11 ended with Saddam Hussein.

It must be true.

Hell would freeze over before Bush and Blair would admit that they knew there were no WMD's in Iraq. They both thought it was a good idea and all the Yes men agreed with them.

Today it was revealed by a middle east political study group that as a result of the attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq, Iran now has more influence on moslems and #countries in the middle east than it had before the attacks.

So we can all pat ourselves on the back, and we can #thank your president and our PM for doing such a jolly good job. The president of Iran is so pleased with their concerted effort that he is working overtime to get some sort of atomic weapons manufactured in the next two years so that Iran can join the "bomb club"

Bush's administration has already admitted there were no WMDs there. Why anybody is still trying to prove that there are - when the Bush has already said there aren't is way beyond me.

Much to the dismay of the far left, that ain't happen'n.

The "Four Noble Truths":
-No Impeachment
-Karl Rove is innocent
-Cheney isn't connected to Haliburton
-The only "gulible people" are those that don't believe the above.

I'd say it's time for the propagandist and "alter(ed)net" to wake up.
