It's not much of a contest if you give away the name in the first post.
It's "JUNK"

It's a boat anchor and by the looks of it I'd say it was used AS a boat anchor. As for it's value, about the same as a large rock also used as a boat anchor.
Any more good junque on e-Bray? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
My research indicates that this is actually it is a reboxed late serial number 75-A4 receiver that was used for listening posts in the Anartic theater of operations. It later served as a Boat Anchor for the USS Pembroke research ship.
A bargain at $150

It's a psychological experiment designed to find anyone stupid enough to bid on it. $150 plus the $10 handling fee plus shipping for 30 pounds of garbage . . . The government is finally taking action to eliminate those who have no business being able to reproduce their idiot selves.
Seriously, it looks like a homebrew receiver. But really, who knows?

E-Bay Seller:
'I don't know what it is or what it does but, I do know it is worth $150!'
It's a rare 5 relay, multiple cavity doorstop worth WAY more than a paltry $150.00. Guaranteed to keep any door open. ;)

What an oddity. The behind the panel looks almost commercial, the front looks poorly homebrewed. That dial is a hoot. Russian? My guess is a heavily modified something. Worthless. Even working and without the barnicles probably not worth $150.

I like the $3.5k Tonka Trucks at the bottom of the page.
Hmmmm I think I'm going to have to get my thesaurus out to see how many other words there are for "junk"

Charlie,
Are the gunshot holes included in the selling price or are they extra ?

Must have been owned by a red neck free-bander. First time I've seen 30 cal ventillation holes. Gotta love those armor piercing rounds.

Rule 1 on Ebay:
Ignore any item where people spell "look" as L@@K.
That right there eliminates most of the crud. Not all of it, but most http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
