Quote[/b] ]"The reality of the world we live in today is that if Michael Moore endorses it, tens of millions will automatically reject it," said Magnolia Films president Eamonn Bowles.

The documentary, directed by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady, looks at a summer camp for born-again Christian children, and has won top jury awards at this year's Tribeca Film Festival and AFI SilverDocs Film Festival.

Nice to see that the neocons are doing it the Elvis way. Get 'em young and break 'em in!

I think I will ask Moore to produce and direct the screenplay based on my novel, Diana Cooke P.I. I think he will like it.

Just like the liberal education system.

Question is which kid will be more likely to drop out, do drugs, or bring a gun to school?

Well, he's got to do something. He's probably figured out that he'll have to make up for that $85 million dollars he's about to loose over some other "disinformation" he's told about an former Army Soldier. And what better way than to put out more propaganda that the Prols would like to see. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I'd put my money on the poor kid who had God pushed down his throat.

Perhaps we should have a telethon, Kevin.

Bulletin: #healthy belief systems invite questioning. #Can you tell me that a kid in Nepal is going to hell because he didn't follow the teachings of the Bible? #Is he going to hell because of something of which he had no knowledge? The fundamentalists who have the Republican party by the stones would prefer that you believe as much. #Get back to me with an answer on that one.

I can't tell you whether the kid in Nepal is going to hell or not, it's not my call.

Since you are neither a Republican or a fundamentalist (I am a republican but not a "fundamentalst") you ASSume they have the party by the stones. It makes you feel better about losing all those elections and also makes your irrational hatred of all things religious seem oh so enlightened, chic, and trendy.

Healthy belief systems invite questioning? Possibly, but would you chacterize as healthy, a belief system that automatically, in knee jerk fashion, dismisses, marginalizes, or minimizes those who believe something different? You call it healthy, I could probably round up a few mental health professionals that would call it paranoid.

Oh, you mean like Christianity? Or the Islamic belief?

Just look at your typical extreme right winger. If anybody occupies America he intends on becoming a freedom fighter. Regan-era probaganda films like Red Dawn, and the mini series, "Amerika" feed on this.
Christians and Islams are more alike then you may think.Except their religion is a tad more extreme. It allows their religious leaders to justify teaching others including children to become living bombs and myrters.

1.) Don't twist my words. Nothing in my statement tied a healthy belief system to Christianity.

2.) Your word that you put in bold type just merely shows
that once again, neocons love to cry foul when on the losing end of things, time to call names, yet when it is pulled on them, it is run to the moderator time.

3.) You'll eat those words on November 7th.

I didn't twist anything.
It was you who brought up the christian fundy's, the kid in Nepal, and a "healthy belief system" as if being religious weren't healthy.

I didn't know it was a competetion. Oh well, I guess it's a maturity thing. Who ran to the moderator?

Yep heard that one last time too. BTW, who's going to feed them too me?

Ok, I'll break it down....

I did not say that Christianity was a healthy belief
system. I said just the opposite, and you are trying to play amateur Gestalt with me.

As for maturity, you called me an ass. More than likely if I were to call you something, you'd hightail to FredCo.

I will. With a fork and a keyboard.

Michael Moore is not the problem. Michael Moore can not:

Write or vote on laws.
Raise taxes.
Raise the price of gas.
Raise the price of necessities.
Tell you what kind of toilet to sit on.

Michael Moore can:
Make films.

Either way, November looks to be a good hunting season for:

Judging by that picture, come November 7th, you can caption it "Neocons eat their own".

We are each held accountable for what we know. I forget where in the Bible that is located at (I think the book of Romans).

That means the bush man who has never heard the Gospel is not held accountable for what he does not know.

If someone were to approach that bush man and share the Gospel with him and he rejects it, then he is held accountable.

As for questioning ones beliefs, I do it all the time. The church I attend has a number of classes where questions are encouraged. Not all Southern Baptists are rabid hate mongers. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I've had some great friends that were Southern Baptists. I just didn't know that they had Southern Baptists in Alaska. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

They classify the religion WRT AL2I.

Certainly we all have great friends who are Southern Baptists. At one place I worked, I corrupted one to follow left wing doctrine. It was amazing how he would tear apart news stories and opinion pages to uncover true objectives in the news stories or columns.

May God rest his soul.

If you'd like, there's a book that I'm going to the library entitled, "Hell? Yes!" and has been touted as a good book to read for those answers. sorry that I can't remember the author right now, but I'm interested in reading it.....
